Greetings Church Family!
I wanted to take a minute to let you know that the Elders and I have been talking and praying through how to provide our church with the greatest opportunities for worship and spiritual growth during this difficult season. We have had many discussions and are evaluating our decisions on a daily basis.
This Sunday as a worldwide church we celebrate Palm Sunday, which is the beginning of Holy Week. Throughout this season of Lent I pray that you have made time for intentional reflection and preparation, being mindful of the amazing power of the cross of Christ. This Sunday we will once again make our sermon available via our weekly Podcast. I will again send out an email communication with a link to the sermon. This week I will also include a link to a video on Youtube intended to help direct our thoughts more intentionally on Palm Sunday.
We had originally intended to offer the “Journey to the Cross” during Holy Week. This is one of the many events that has been canceled, but we will instead be offering a digital opportunity to help us focus and prepare for Easter this year. Beginning on Monday, April 6, I will be sending via email and posting on Facebook the link to a daily video of the Easter Experience. Each email will include questions for reflection that will help lead you deeper in your walk with Jesus especially during this Holy season.
We are investigating the possibility of live streaming our sermons and hope to have that option up and running soon. We are looking toward creative options to help enhance our Easter celebration and will keep you posted as we solidify plans. We are also working to upgrade our tech options in this season and are in the process of creating a Hebron Christian Church App. We are also working to make our podcasts available through Itunes and Google Play to help remove barriers in accessing these digital options.
Just wanted to give you all a quick update on the things we are working on and ask for your continued prayers as we make tough decisions throughout this season.
Thank you for your support,
Pastor Tina and the HCC Elders

Dear Church Family,
Understanding the importance of prevention and the need to be diligent in our responsibility to care for our congregation, the Elders have made the decision to cancel all church activities until further notice. Our hope is that we will be able to resume our regular schedule in April. Until then all regularly scheduled meetings, practices, services and activities that require in person interactions are to be canceled.
Sunday, April 5th is Palm Sunday and our hope is that this COVID-19 outbreak will be under control and regulations lifted. If that is the case we will come back strong on April 5th with renewed excitement for the celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday April 12th. If however this crisis continues with increased restrictions we will need to make further adjustments.
In lieu of the regular Sunday worship experience we would encourage you to spend those mornings in prayer and private worship. Pastor Tina will be recording and posting sermons each week via podcast and those will be available here on our website Click here or the Messages tab by Sunday morning. We encourage you to listen to the continued messages in The Covenant message series and consider making your donation online as well through the website.
We would ask that you continue to be in prayer for all those who have been diagnosed with the virus as well as the health care workers and others caring for them. Pray that God would provide an increase of wisdom, strength, healing and peace. Pray for the quick containment of this virus. Pray for those truck drivers, warehouse workers, store clerks/workers, delivery drivers, postal workers, teachers, first responders, government officials and all others working to keep things moving forward during this difficult time.
Let us continue to pray for and support one another. Look in on your neighbors and offer assistance as appropriate.
Blessings and Peace,
Pastor Tina and The HCC Board of Elders

Dear Church Family,
The Elders have been in conversation regarding our response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We care very much about those we serve inside and outside the walls of the church. It is the decision of the Elders to cancel our Sunday morning worship service this Sunday March 15th. This action is made with an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of our church family. We realize this situation is of great concern for many and we have not made this decision lightly.
In lieu of the regular worship experience we would encourage you to spend the morning in prayer and private worship. Pastor Tina’s sermon will be recorded prior to Sunday morning and the podcast will be available on our website Click here or the Messages tab by Sunday morning. We encourage you to listen to that next installment of The Covenant message series and consider making your donation online as well through the website.
We would also ask that you would join in prayer for those infected by the coronavirus around the world, for those who care for them, and for health specialist and authorities who are combatting the spread of infection. Pray too for those who are feeling anxious during this difficult time. Pray that God would provide an increase of wisdom, strength, healing and peace. Pray for the quick containment of this virus. We offer continued thanks for the medical professionals, concerned citizens, and governmental and non-governmental entitles across the world that are actively advocating for an effective and appropriate response.
Let us continue to pray for and support one another. Look in on your neighbors and offer assistance as appropriate.
Blessings and Peace,
Pastor Tina and The HCC Board of Elders
